VINEYARD TOUR

Château Smith Haut-Lafitte

Tour and tasting

This vast wine region, stretching along the Garonne River between Sauternes and Médoc, continues to produce great red and white wines.

Every day, Château Smith Haut Lafitte, a Grand Cru Classé of Graves, welcomes you for guided tours by appointment for small group of 10 persons.

You will discover its 16th-century tower, its wine cellar, the underground cellars for red and white wines where 1,000 barrels rest, the cooperage, and conclude with a tasting of the property’s first and second wines.

Discovering the Bordeaux region

The birthplace of prestigious wines, Bordeaux offers a rich and varied terroir where vines thrive under an oceanic climate. Its legendary appellations, such as Médoc, Saint-Émilion, and Pomerol, produce powerful and elegant wines that reflect the grandeur of this region, where the art of viticulture is a true heritage.

We recommend discovering:
The Pessac-Léognan appellation, known for its exceptional red and white wines, including a visit to Château Smith Haut-Lafitte and Château Pape Clément in Pessac.

The village and appellation of Saint-Emilion, with visits to Château La Dominique and Château La Gaffelière. Nestled on the right bank of the Dordogne, Saint-Emilion is famous for its blends dominated by Merlot, producing smooth and accessible wines, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon.
