Spring at Les Sources de Cheverny unfolds with the rhythm of nature awakening and experiences to share. To make the most of this season, we have curated a selection of activities to experience on-site or nearby: walks, cultural discoveries, moments of well-being… plenty of opportunities to soak in the charm of the Loire Valley and savor the first sunny days.

Sound and light show at the Royal Château of Blois
20-minute ride from the hotel
Starting April 5, as night falls, the majestic façades of the Château de Blois come to life in an immersive 45-minute performance. Monumental projections and special effects bring the castle’s history to life.
Showtime: 10:00 PM in April / 10:30 PM in May and June

Boat ride on the Loire river

The tulip, Queen of the Château de Cheverny

Every spring for the past ten years, tulips have brightened three of the gardens at the Château de Cheverny. This year, over 500,000 bulbs were planted in autumn to create an exceptional floral display.

International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire

From April 19 to November 2, the Garden Festival presents a magical world of plant creations inspired by fairy tales and major social themes. A must-see event for garden and landscape design enthusiasts.

From April 5 to September 18, experience an equestrian performance at the Château de Chambord, where horses and birds of prey transport you into the world of François I.

Horseback riding
Departure: 10-minute ride from the hotel
Discover the forests of Sologne on horseback, guided by passionate professionals. At a walk, trot, or gallop, let yourself be carried away on an adventure through clearings and wooded trails. Rides are available starting from age 6, and pony rides are available from age 4 with parental supervision.

Golf at the Château de Cheverny

Hot air balloon ride
From Les Sources de Cheverny, take flight at dawn or dusk to admire the Loire Valley landscapes during a one hour flight. Up there, the silence is only interrupted by the sound of the wind, as the wonders of the Loire Valley unfold before your eyes. Available from mid-March to the end of October, depending on weather conditions.
